Best tips for a succesful Photography Session (Family Photoshoot):

1.- Set the date for your session.

Since we are in a tropical destination, we always recommed our clients to book for the second (otherwise first) day of your stay. This way we ensure the kids are not too tanned yet, and we have some extra days of you staying in the city, just in case we need to re-schedule our appointment for any reason (check out cancellation policies at your appointment confirmation e-mail).

2.- Keep in mind that the best time for photographs is early in the morning or the golden hour.

During the Summer Season in the Puerto Vallarta / Punta Mita areas the sun sets down around 8:30 p.m. Therefore, booking to start your session at 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. will be perfect! For more information about sunset and sunrise times visit: https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/mexico/puerto-vallarta 

3.- Choose a time and a payment method.

Once you have set a date, find the portfolio of a professional photographer that matches your style and request availability/pricing.

4.- Check out reservation/cancellation/delivery terms and policies.

5.- Put down your reservation fee.

*Remember that when booking with Weddings and Portraits Mexico, the remaining balance is due on the day of your session and can be paid in cash or any other payment method available. Ask us for more information.

6.- Take care of the details.

Whether you are going to round up the day with a nice dinner or you don’t have any special plans after/before the photoshoot; make sure you inform your hotel’s front desk clerk we are visiting you, provide our names so they have us in the list of allowed visitors, and send us your hotel registration information.

7.- Remember we do not charge for the size of the group.

With us, there are no additional fees for adding a family memeber to your session.
